Resident Return Visa Subclass 155 and 157

If a permanent resident of Australia, leaves Australia after the validity expires or validity expires when they are outside Australia, he will not be able to return as a permanent resident to Australia. Under this visa, you can return as a permanent resident.

  • You must meet the character requirement.
  • You must not have cancellation action against your business skills visa
  • You must not have had a cancelled visa and refused an application previously.

Former Resident Visa Subclass 151

This is a permanent visa. Under this visa, former permanent residents and certain people who served in Australian Defence Force can live in Australia

  • You must be a former permanent resident or served in the Defence services of Australia.
  • You may have to show an Assurance of Support
  • You have to apply on paper
  • You have to meet certain eligibility criteria

If you apply when you are inside Australia, you will not be granted a visa if you are outside Australia when the department makes the decision.
