RPL

RTOs employ Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as an evaluation technique to evaluate a person’s abilities, knowledge, and experience obtained through working and learning. RPL allows you to have your job experience and abilities evaluated to get a legitimate qualification. The qualification you receive is based on the abilities you develop on the job rather than in the classroom. It expedites and reduces the cost of acquiring your qualification. It is less expensive than a full certification since you are not paying to study something you already know.

Government Funded Course

The Government of Australia provides funding to such courses which is helpful in filling the skill gap and creating a solid workforce in the country.
Currently, in Australia, there are 14 government funding schemes. They are either state-specific schemes or country-wide initiatives. Different schemes target different groups of people with different professions and educational backgrounds.
There are some schemes in which you can get free training in a demanding area and in other schemes you get subsidies for course fees as this will help in lower educational expenses.

Scholarships

It’s a common misconception that Australian institutions and colleges don’t frequently provide scholarships for foreign students and that only very gifted applicants with exceptional academic performance are eligible. However, the reality is that several Australian education providers offer financial help and numerous scholarships to support a variety of overseas students. Most education providers use scholarships covering 25%, 50%, or even 100% of tuition to entice highly qualified overseas students. Some colleges, nevertheless, provide valuable scholarships to all incoming foreign students.

University Education

Australian universities have an international reputation for quality. They’re popular with overseas students because Australia is one of the few countries that allows you to work during study and after finishing your degree. English Language tests & studying English

Australia is a multi-cultural, English speaking country, so improving your English can be a great first step in your migration journey. English courses are generally up to 20 hours a week, cost $160-400 a week, and you can study for as long as you like. Plus, you’re able to work part-time while studying.

Vocational Education

Vocational education is generally shorter and cheaper than university education. It’s designed to provide job-related and technical skills for your chosen career. Courses start at six months in length and cost around $5000-15,000 AUD per year. Vocational education covers a very large range of careers including trades, office work, retail and hospitality – the most popular choice we see is project management.
How Does AQF Works?

Australian Qualifications Framework

In Australian education and training, the AQF serves as the national strategy for regulated qualifications. The qualifications from each education and training sector (schools, vocational, and higher education) are incorporated into a single comprehensive national qualifications framework, which is provided by the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment in consultation with the states and territories.

The AQF’s facilitation of paths to and through formal credentials is one of its main goals. Additionally, it completes national systems for quality control and regulation of education and training. The AQF is divided into 10 levels, from certificate level one to doctoral degree level ten, with levels five through ten representing higher education awards.
